Super Tuesday User Conference

It looks like PeopleSoft MARUG (Mid-Atlantic Regional User Group) has gotten an agenda with session titles....and it really looks good.

JD Edwards sessions include "The Value of Upgrading World and EnterpriseOne", "EnterpriseOne 8.12 Upgrade: A Customer Case Study and Project Overview", "Advanced Cost Accounting" and others. This looks worth attending.

The JD Edward track is detailed on this page:

Register for MARUG Super Tuesday here.

I still have major beefs with MARUG though, including the fact that their website is still titled "PeopleSoft Mid-Atlantic RUG" and their mission states "Provide a network of contacts providing you with valuable expertise in all aspects of PeopleSoft and PeopleSoft implementations. [emphasis mine]

MARUG was folded into Quest when Oracle took over PeopleSoft and as a Quest regional group should be committed to both JD Edwards and PeopleSoft missions. I firmly believe that once JD Edwards Mid-Atlantic customers are made to feel welcome in the group that MARUG will see the explosive growth that Quest Southeast, Quest Mid-West, and Quest Northeast are currently seeing.
